I Miss You Dad

It’s been 55 days since I last laid eyes on you. 
Even though I have pictures sometimes they just don’t do. For gone are the days we used to share, but in my heart you’re always there. You taught me to trust in God and not man.;and to recognize the value of things when they touched my hands. I’ll always remember your captivating smile; and that conversation we had before you walked me down the aisle.

I have always remembered JR for his beautiful smile and the kindness he shared.  Knowing him was a blessing in my life.  He was one of God's brave disciples when he broke the color barrier as a Hahn & Clay employee.

Daddy I’m going to miss you so much… I had you in my life for 40 years and I can truly say I was blessed. I’m going miss our talks and the drives we had listening to country music… Daddy you were such a good example of a real man. I know you loved and cared for all of us deeply. I never imagined living life without you, but God wanted you with him. I remembered the last conversation we had and you said take care of your momma and DADDY, I’m going to do just that..
