Willie Ruth Lynch

Willie Ruth Lynch, 77, of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully on July 25, 2017 at North Cypress Medical Center in Cypress, Texas. A Memorial service will be held at The little Country Church on August 5, 2017 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Jerry officiating. Lunch will be provided after services at Porter VFW.

Willie was born in Waco, Texas to William and Margaret Baughn on July 18, 1940. She went to Aldine High School where she graduated in 1958. Willie worked at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company just after she graduated. She retired from there after 32+ years of service. She enjoyed watching movies, dancing, fishing, reading and just spending time with her family and puppies.

Willie is preceded in death by her parents, William and Margaret Baughn; two brothers, William Lee and Dennis Frank Baughn of Houston.

Willie is survived by her husband of 58 years, Woodrow Powell Lynch; sister, Ella Sue Walker of Nacogdoches; daughters, Nicholette Franke and Brandy McCorquodale of Houston; grandchildren, Kent McCorquodale II, Kristi Wiley, Woodi Nicole Franke and Andy Franke; great grandchildren, Kylie, Ashtyn, Ean and Bradley McCorquodale, Karter Czervinske, Karsyn, Taelyn, Sawyer and Layla Wiley; Hailey Midgett- all from the Houston area.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the North Cypress Medical Center for their support in her final days.
