Youngran (“Young”) Lee believed every day is a blessing. She believed in God, her family, and the American dream. Her commitment to God was felt by all who knew her, including the local church where she was involved in many church activities.

Young wanted everyone to live a happy, joyful life. She loved the simple joys in life and firmly believed in the unwavering power of prayer.
Young was born in Gangwon-do, South Korea on September 12, 1956 to Jeongsan Lee and Soonye Kim. She married Kunsik Lee in April of 1978.
Young immigrated to America on September 16, 1978 and lived in Canton, Ohio in 1978. The family moved to the Houston area in 1982 where she raised her three sons: Benjamin Lee, 41, Jonathan Lee, 40, and Jimmy Edwards, 40.
Her dream job was to work at the United States Postal Service where she scored a perfect 100% on the postal entrance exams. She retired from the USPS after serving over 30 years.
