Shirley M. Ford

Shirley M. Ford, 82 of Spring Hill, Florida passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014. She was born in Lockhaven, Pennsylvania to Forrest Stevens and Selma Koch. Shirley was a Secretary for the YMCA, helped to run children's summer camps and moved on to become a Nurses assistant. Later in life she worked hard to become an LPN.

Shirley also spent some summers teaching Phys Ed and swimming before retiring to Florida. She retired to Florida in 1994. She loved sports, swimming, collecting shells, and puzzles but most of all she loved her children, her grandchildren and her great grand children. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband Richard Ford; sons Steven Ford and wife Arlene; James A. Ford and wife Susan; daughters Debra Brown and Sheri R. Osburne and husband Larry; sisters Kathryn Clark; Meda Weatherington; brother Robert Stevens and wife Connie; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8pm Friday, February 14, 2014. The Funeral Service will be 1pm Saturday, February 15, 2014 all located at North Meadowlawn Funeral Home 4244 Madison Street New Port Richey, Florida 34652. 727-849-9281
