Cliff was born in Baltimore, Maryland on October 11, 1954 to Clifford Garcia Regello Sr. and Margaret Louise Graf. As a young boy, the family moved to California and settled in Ripon. Cliff loved spending time on his grandparents' chicken ranch. He milked cows, helped raise pigs and goats, and helped with other animals and chores. Later in life he built an aviary and raised doves. He became quite the "do-it-yourself-er." He was handy and liked fixing things. He liked things neat, orderly and clean. He kept his yard immaculate and no weeds allowed.
Some of his first jobs were picking olives, working at a dairy equipment manufacturing plant and at a fruit stand. He was highly respected for his work ethics and was at Campbell's Soup Company for 21 years until the plant closed. Then he worked at Ball Corporation for 15 years until a serious injury forced him to retire.
Cliff's greatest love was his family. He loved RV camping, kayaking, being outdoors, the mountains and road trips. He enjoyed going to casinos, and was definitely a "foodie." Going out to eat was one of his favorite pastimes. He was a chocolate lover, and that carried over into ice cream. Cliff was passionate about eagles, and had a large collection of them. In his recent years he became keenly interested in Morgan Silver Dollars and had a collection of them.
Cliff was baptized with his son Michael, on Father's Day in 2019, at Covenant Grove Church. He loved country music and the traditional old hymns he'd heard in his childhood. When our beloved Cliff passed on into the arms of Jesus, the song playing at his bedside was, " When I Get Where I'm Going," sung by country artist Brad Paisley.
"...But when I get where I'm going
And I see my Makers' face
I'll stand forever in the light
Of His amazing grace..."
Cliff is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Regello; his former wife, Jo Ann McMinn; devoted sons Jason (Tammy) Regello, Michael Regello, Joshua Lancaster, Keith (Stephanie) Lancaster; stepchildren Marissa Shull, Lisa Temores, Justin (Kristin) Temores and Brandon (Scott) Johnson-Temores; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 7 step grandchildren; beloved sisters Laura (Steve) Moore and Robin Bearden; many extended family and loved ones.
Cliff was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Garcia Regello, Sr. and Margaret Louise Graf; brother Joseph Regello; late wife of 30 years, Vivian Regello.
