"Entered into Rest" on Wednesday February 4, 2015. He died peacefully at home. He was born in Stringtown, OK and has lived in Stanislaus County for 72 years. He loved to cook, fish, travel, and spend time with family and friends. He graduated from Modesto High School in 1950. He worked at Norris Industry Ammo Plant, Riverbank for 30 years. He is survived by five children: David & Diana Allen of Modesto, Ron & Deb Allen of Cabot, Ark., Merle & Suzette Allen of Ceres, Marilyn & Bob Jackson of Atwater, and Carolyn & Ross Darby of Ceres. He had 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren. He has 1 surviving brother Jim Ray Allen of Porterville, CA. Clyde is preceded in death by his wife Waneka of 64 years. Also his parents Ernest and Annie Allen and brother Jerry.
