Corine K. Craig Wood

Corine Kay Wood was born on June 6, 1934, in Custer, South Dakota to parents, Allan and Ruth Craig. She had three siblings: sister, Jeannine of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, brothers, Jay Craig of Bakersfield, CA and John Craig of Fruitland, ID. On Feb. 14, 1953 she married Henry Wood known to his family and friends as “Bob” (USAF). They were blessed with 3 sons and later 1 daughter by the mercy and goodness of God. Corine is survived by: children, Bob (Robert) Wood of Empire/Modesto, CA, Mike (Christine) Wood of Livermore, CA, Dave Wood of Waterford, CA, and Shannon (Ryan) Schiess of Oakdale, CA. 7 grandchildren: Clint Wood of Empire, CA, Jackie Wood of Sacramento, CA, Andrew Wood (fiancé Kassi Ohnstad) of Livermore, CA, Eric (Kelly) Wood of Lubbock, TX, Lee Wood of Livermore, CA. 8 great-grandchildren: Clayton Richardson of Oakdale, CA, Rocky Richardson III of Oakdale, CA, Madisyn Wood of Modesto, CA, Braden Wood of Modesto, CA, Wayne Wood of Lubbock, TX, Baby Wood of Lubbock, TX, and Baby Schiess of Oakdale, CA. Corine is preceded in death by, husband, Henry “Bob” Wood and her great-grandson, Dillon Richardson. Corine knelt beside her bed on April 19th, 1959, (it was a Friday night), and received Jesus as her Savior and Lord. Her first public confession of faith was April 12th 1959 at First Baptist Church, Balboa, Panama Canal Zone. For 53 years she walked with the Lord and was a living testimony to all those around her. Funeral Services will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home in Hughson, CA. Visitation Friday, August 24th from 4-8pm. Graveside Saturday, August 25th 10:00am.
