Sorry to hear about your loss. I know how much Dale meant to the girls and saw the pride and passion he took in your family. My heart goes out to u and the girls.

Kelly and Kerry, we learned of your dad's passing when Linda ran into your mom yesterday in the post office.  Since his first diagnosis way back when He was 42, whenever your dad and I would run into each other, we'd talk about how he was doing, and our being fellow Long Beach State 49rs.  And we'd share how much fun he had being your dad, and how much I enjoyed Troy. I know your dad lives on in you, and not just in your memories, but the values that he passed on, and that you are passing on to your kids.

Annette and Girls..I am sorry for your loss. I will miss the hour long conversations with Dale where we laughed most of the time, told stories and bragged about our kids. I am so thankfull for the times I spent at your home when Buck was playing ball. I will not forget how hospitable you were to me and my kids. Dale loved to brag about the girls and how proud he was of them. Please be assured that he will not be forgotten by his friends and more importantly his family up north. Love to you all.

The Simmons Family in Weaverville is deeply saddened by the loss of Dale Simmons.  Cousins Jack, Bob and Steve had planned their trip to see Cousin Dale when they got the news.  Condolences to our family in this terrible time of sadness.

I went to Lincoln grade school with Dale. If I remember right he lived close to Graceda park. I remember him as a quite and respectful young boy. Never teasing us girls and making us miserable. I had always wondered what ever happened to him  Did not realize he went to Downey High also. You know sometimes you just wonder about people you have known when you were young and he was one. I am very sorry for your lose but he is called to where he is needed now and will not be in any pain.
