Darwin Eugene Howard

Darwin was born on June 20, 1936 in Turlock, California to the late Dale and Effie Howard. They resided in Hughson during his early years and remained there throughout his highschool years.

After highschool, Darwin met his first and only love of his life, Barbara Cisco from Ceres, California. They married and had two children, Rick and LeeAnn. He worked as a truck driver then obtained his painting contractors license followed by starting his own painting business.

Darwin was a strong and devoted Christian and religiously served in his home church. He was a very dedicated family man and enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play sports. He was a very hard worker, a great provider for his family and enjoyed the great outdoors, snow, skiing, camping and boating.

He is survived by his daughter, LeeAnn Moring, and son-in-law, Randy, daughter-in-law Debbie Howard, Sister Charlotte Roberts, 6 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. 1 nephew, and 3 nieces.

He is preceded in death by his late wife Barbara Howard, parents Dale and Effie Howard, brother Kenny Howard, son Rick Howard, and niece Wendy Roberts-Becker, along with many other family members.

To commemorate his life, and the memories we cherish, a service will be held at Lakewood Memorial located at 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, California on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. Viewing is scheduled for 10 AM with graveside services to be held at 11:00 AM. There will be a dinner celebration after the services at La Morenita restaurant, located at 1667 E Hatch Rd in Ceres, California.
