Donald R. Ford passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on August 1, 1940, in Oklahoma City, OK, Donald was known for his unwavering work ethic, his deep devotion to his family, and for having the best-kept yard on Juanita Court—a testament to his care and pride in all that he did.
Throughout his life, Donald touched the hearts of many with his kindness, quick wit, and dedication to those he loved. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Carolyn K. Ford; his daughters, Kim Solana and Kande Ford; his son, Robert E. Ford; his granddaughters, Ashley Bolger and Emily Solana; his great-grandson, Brady Bolger; and his twin sister, Donna Martin. Donald’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will be carried on by those who knew and loved him.
A celebration of Donald’s life will take place on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Lakewood Funeral Home (Riverside Chapel) in Hughson, CA. Following the service, family and friends are invited to gather for a light lunch to honor his life and share fond memories.
Donald will forever be remembered for his warmth, quick wit, and the joy he brought to others. He leaves behind a legacy of love and a life well-lived.
