Eleanor Aragon Martinez

Eleanor “Chata” Martinez, was born June 12, 1944 in Escalon, CA and passed away on July 25, 2018. Eleanor was a lifetime resident of Riverbank, CA. Eleanor graduated from Oakdale High School and went on to complete Beauty School. On June 16, 1963 she married the love of her life, Daniel Martinez. One year to the day later, she gave birth to Pantaleon “Pete” Florez Martinez. He was her only child. Eleanor was a licensed cosmetologist for 35 years. She was the proud owner of Kut & Kurl Koiffures. Eleanor had a passion for shopping, decorating and casinos. Eleanor now joins her husband Daniel, mother Sotera, father Jose and sister Dolores in heaven. She left behind her son Pete, daughter-in-law Donna and former daughter-in-law Brandie. She had seven grandchildren Jacob, Michael(Jessica), Kaycee, Brandon, Brittany, Bailey and Sebastian. She had one great granddaughter Haevyn. She also left behind two brothers Richard Sandoval and Rojelio Moreno and one sister Senida Gomez. Eleanor will be laid to rest Tuesday, August 7th at 1:00PM alongside her husband Danny at Lakewood Memorial Park.
