E Darrell was born in Marmaduke, Greene Co. AR. A sports lover, he played baseball, golf, football, and bowled. His favorite teams were the SF Giants and SF 49ers. He was a man of wise and witty words to those who knew him. He was an incessant worker, and was extremely frugal. He loved his family and was very very generous.
He is survived by his daughter, Judy Oxford, son Jim D Whitworth, four grandchildren, Justin, Jana, Jimmy, Austin, six great grandchildren, William, Jared, Mason, Ayden, Keilani, Choral, one great great granddaughter, Layla, one older brother, James Laverne and several nieces and nephews. His wife Pasty of 70 years preceded him in death ten months earlier in March 2021. He is loved by many and already missed immensely.
A visitation for Elvis will be held Monday, January 31, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326.
