Faustino Lopez

Faustino Lopez, better known as Tino Lopez, passed peacefully in his home on Dec. 14, 2014. The beloved son of Tereso and Filomena Lopez is survived by 4 siblings; Teresa Arevalo Martinez and spouse Tony Martinez, Dom L. Arevalo Jr. and wife Patricia Arevalo, Terry Bernal and spouse David Bernal and Rosendo (Chendo) Lopez; children, Leticia Lopez, Chiki (Alicia) Lopez, Faustino Lopez Jr., Jose Natividad Lopez and Alfonzo Lopez.

Tino was born and raised in Robstown, Texas. He was the second youngest of 9 children. He met, then married Romelia Zuniga in 1975 and then moved to Modesto, CA. They had 5 children together and remained married for 16 years. He worked locally for Post Cereal plant for over 20 years. He made many friends in his 30's with whom he developed a love for riding motorcycles. This led him to move to Las Vegas, NV. This year he received his 24 year sobriety chip from AA making his family so proud. He spent many hours and miles traveling and speaking avidly against alcohol abuse. He worked with many young adults and juvenile delinquents. He touched and helped change so many lives, but his love for his siblings, children and grandchildren and his passion for motorcycles and bike runs will be what we remember most. Tino, you will be missed by many. RIDE INTO PARADISE IN PEACE.

A viewing and service will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 12:00 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home (Riverside Chapel), 900 Santa Fe Ave., Hughson, CA. Lakewood Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
