On August 2nd i lost a real one in my heart. A cousin that was like a brother to me. Gabe we have so many memories together growing up. This feels so unreal i wish it wasn’t. I should of reached out more I should of did a lot more. Its been so hard i don’t know how I'm gonna do this tomorrow but as i sit here and think of you i tear up God took you from us and we weren’t ready to loose you i miss playing call of duty with you and eating burritos and dinosaur chicken nuggets and pretending to be asleep when ur pops was going to work lol and i miss us getting lectured from mamo all the time she really was looking out for us i miss her to i wish we could have them sleep overs again at mamos in me in u would sneak out in try in be sneaky but your mom always new lol you were my best player on my team gabe you were always solid i miss them drinking days in the good old days me in u were black sheep but we didn’t care we were just playing the cards we were delt i love u bro i look after your fam and your brother I promise gabe may you Rest In Peace brother i love u forever. Valdez live on.

My son Gabriel had left this world behind on August 2, 2020, leaving behind me Stacy Valdez, his dad Dennis Valdez, brother Taylor Valdez, Fiance Amanda Shreve, and his beautiful 2-year-olda son Gabriel Jr. Valdez. Our hearts are completely broken. Gabriel was just starting out in life and would have been 22 this November. He was one of the most loyal and loving people I have ever known. If he loved you he would always be there for you. He was a definite mammas boy for sure. We were so close and he always made sure that I knew how important I was to him. I can never doubt the love he had for me or his son. He was such an amazing and loving father to little Gabriel. Little Gabriel was a daddy's boy. I remember a couple months ago Gabriel told me "Mom you were right, you will never know real love until you hold your child for the first time!" Gabriel loved his son so much and there are complete twins. Looking at my grandson is like looking back in time at Gabriel. I know Gabriel will always live through his son and his son will always know how much his daddy loved him. I love and miss you Gabriel and I know you are watching over us. I love you and I know we will see each other again.

My deepest of condolences goes out to gabriels family and friends .  It was always a joy to see him show his son so much love and affection . His friendly greeting and infectious smile will be missed.
