Geneva Faye Emens

Geneva Faye Emens passed away March 9, 2019 in Missoula, MT at the age of 92. She was born in Morganton, AR to Harland and Lucille (Andrews) Jennings. Geneva moved to Modesto when she was 16 and it was here where she met and married Dale Emens. During their life together, they lived in 10 states and traveled all of the lower 48 states when they were in the moving business. Geneva kept busy crocheting afghans for friends and family and she enjoyed going out to eat. In their later years, she and Dale were regulars at the Olive Garden in Clovis, CA where they were loved by the staff and management. Known for her love of children, Geneva cared for foster children and worked in day care. Wherever they moved they would quickly find a home church to attend and support as Geneva loved Jesus and followed Him all of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Dale, and missed him so much since his passing and now we rejoice that they are together again in Heaven. Four brothers and two sisters also precede Geneva in death.

Geneva leaves on earth, her sons, Roger Emens and his wife Marge, Dennis Emens and his wife Linda and Tim Emens and his wife Sarah; nine grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 11:30 am at Lakewood Funeral Home – Riverside Chapel.
