Howard Tillman Barker, age 82, of Modesto passed away peacefully at his home after a long illness. He was born in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lois Barker.
Howard is survived by his long time companion, Barbara Hawkins; children, Cindy Harrison, April Godwin, Janice Knispel, David Tedrick; grandchildren, Daniel, Narrissa, Kevin, Chris and Frankie, 8 great grandchildren and brother-in-law Thomas Hamilton.
The family wants to give a special thanks to all his caregivers; Darlene, Jeanette & Todd, Carolyn and Alma.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 26th at 10:30 AM at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Ave., Hughson, California.
