Indar Mati Narayan

Indar was born on September 30, 1946 in the Fiji Islands.

She was married to late Hari (Peter) Narayan of the Fiji Islands.

Together they had three children. They moved to the United States in 1988 and settled in Modesto.

Indar was a homemaker prior to moving to the United States.

While residing in the United States, she worked as a housekeeper before her retirement. She devoted her spare time at the Hindu cultural center and loved spending time with her family.

Indar was preceded in death by her husband: Hari Narayan (Peter), in 2002, and her eldest son Sanjeev Kumar Narayan, in 2022.

Indar leaves behind her daughter, Roselin Lata Anand; her son-in-law, Pundit Sailesh Anand; son, Amit Kumar Narayan; daughters-in-law, Irene Narayan, Saleshni Narayan; five grandchildren, Prashant Anand (and his wife Shayal Kumar), Devika Bharti Anand, Shalneev Narayan, Avian Narayan, Shireen Shivani Prasad (and her husband Johnathan Prasad), and one great-grandson, Jashawn Prasad.

Please join the family for her funeral service on January 3rd, 2026, from 11am to 1pm at Lakewood Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
