November 3, 1938 - May 9, 2015 Mike Martinez, 76, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2015. Mike was born in Bakersfield, CA but was raised and lived part of his life in San Jose, CA. He moved to Modesto in 1970 where he lived until his passing. Mike worked for Tri-Valley Growers Plant 7 for 49 years as a supervisor before retiring 14 years ago. He loved all sports especially his San Francisco 49er's and San Francisco Giants.He is survived by his wife, Dora, daughters Becky Sabala(Mick Buila), Peggy Osuna(Tony), sons Micheal Martinez, Kenneth Martinez(Connie), grandchildren Joseph Sabala, Christopher Osuna, KC Martinez, Kenn Martinez, great-grandchildren Andrew Sabala, Annabella Sabala, Emily Alacron, Hailee Buila. All services will be held at Lakewook Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Avenue in Hughson, CA. Visitation is planned for Thursday, May 14th at 4:00p-6:30p with a Rosay beginning at 6:30p. Services and burial will be Friday, May 15th at 1:00p.
