I am a former student, and unless I am seriously mistaken, she was our school chaperone on a 4 week European trip with the American Institute for Foreign Study in 1980. Her mother/MIL? came with us. She and I had the same suitcase in different sizes, so we always spotted ours together.  She and my mother Carol connected in all the pretrip meetings due to their shared love of art. It was a wonderful time and changed my life outlook. She was very dedicated and talented. My deepest sympathies to your family.

To Bill and all the family I am sending words of condolence from both myself and Ed.  There are many ways the Sharp's have been friends of our family and the memories of those times remain.  I am sorry that Jan is gone, but her spirit will always be with you.  Best to all of you.
