Born to Beulah Mitchell Horton and Andrew Jackson Horton in Cecil, Arkansas. Served in the U.S. Navy from Nov. 1942 till Sept. of 1945. Married the "Love of his Life" Charlene Harding when he was discharged from the Navy on Oct. 16, 1945. Retired from Ceres Unified School District Maintenance Dept. in August 1988.
Survived by his wife of 70 years Charlene, 2 sons, David (Janice) Horton of Alabama and Phillip (Vicki) Horton of Oklahoma. One daughter, Pamela (Ollie) Tosh of Ceres, Calif. Numerous relatives and a host of treasured friends.
