Joyce Marie Massengale

May 10, 1932 - January 16, 2015

Joyce Marie Massengale, 82, of Turlock, California, died peacefully in her sleep, on Friday January 16th 2015 at home and will be greatly missed. Born May 10, 1932 in Modesto CA, she is predeceased by her parents, Venice and Ruby Howard of Denair, CA, her older brother Ernest Howard, and her beloved grandmother Sallie Arnett.

Joyce (also known as "Jo" by her family) was a homemaker and wife for 64 years. She, along with her husband Bill, also lived at various times in Fresno, Salinas and Woodland, CA.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Bill Massengale, her two sons Mark Allen (Susan) of Prescott, AZ and Timothy Wayne (Linda) of Indianapolis, IN. She also has four grandchildren (Ashley, Samantha, Alexis, and Cody) 11 nieces, 11 nephews and 2 great grandchildren.

Joyce was a loving wife and faithful Christian who devoted her time caring for family, friends and church. She will long be remembered for her passionate love for God. She regularly attended both the Lawrence Street Church of Christ and the United Pentecostal Church both in Ceres, CA.

Graveside services will be held at 11am Saturday January 24th 2015, in Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson, CA. David Howard officiating.
