Judi, Judi, Judi - I am at a true loss for words.   I have such happy memories(most of them to do with baseball of course)!  I always looked forward to seeing Del & Judi, I think because you reminded me of my own parents in so many ways.  I was so happy to re-connect with your family after Julie and I started working together.  Thank you for always having a smile on your face and open arms for a big hug when I would see you at church or the parking lot at O.co :-)    
You probably know this but, you have one amazing daughter - I could not have gotten through this journey of ours without her!
Now, listen...you and my dad behave yourselves up there!

I met Judy one time...when she came to visit Ali.  What a woman and what a hug.  Loved her from  that very moment.  She will be missed.

My heart aches for all of her family, may God help all of you thru this most difficult time.  I have been truly blessed to have you for my friend all of these years. My Aunt Judy was one of the kindest, most giving women I've ever known.  And she had a way of making everyone who crossed her path feel special.

I could go on and on and tell you about many good memories But I'll keep this short...and tell you about my earliest memory.

I was three and this was before she married my uncle Del. I was riding in a car with her and this was before car seats, mind you. Aunt Judy was driving and I was standing beside her. I said to her: Do you have a man? And she said: No? ( probably thinking what a weird kid). I said : yes, you do...you have a milk man! you have a mail man! I recall her looking at me and laughing so hard. So silly but...

Now, as I recall this, I think: She sure did have a man. My Uncle Del. They were the greatest team and such an inspiration to me and my husband. 

And...Yes...She sure does have another man, she has a man up there. And she is now with our Father in heaven.

She's okay. She would never have wanted any of us to be morose.

The last time I saw her she said: this is not all doom and gloom! I'm either going to beat this or I'm going to get weaker and weaker and fade out. She had her bible on the coffee table and it hit it hard with her hand and said: I've got this book and I know where I am going!

She's there. She's with our Heavenly Father. Let's not be sad, let's celebrate her and her life.

Let's show kindness and love to others, like she did. She loved unconditionally!

Endings are rarely good. None can be changed. I am going to think of the beginnings and the times in between, for these are the times that bring joy to my heart. I'm going to remember the laughter and the late night messages we shared on facebook, years and years of messages! These are the things that will never change or leave me.

Rest in Peace, my dear Auntie Judy. Looking forward to meeting up with you one day. I'll bet you that your beloved dogs Maggie and Panda and Penrod will be right behind you. 


One of the greatest supervisors I have had the pleasure of having worked for.   My prayers are with all her family and many friends.  

My heart hurts for Judy’s family as well as all of the rest of us who loved her.  She was one of the sweetest, loving, kindest person I knew.  She was my best fiend for over 50 years and I will love and miss her the rest of my life.  Rest In Peace Dear Friend.  When you finish hugging all of your family waiting for you hug my Dad and Sister, too!  🌹

Our thoughts and prayers are with Delbert, Julie and the entire family. We enjoyed getting to know Judy and Delbert so much while our daughter Braden and Lindsey played softball together at Hart-Ransom. While visiting, we discovered other family connections with both Delbert and Judy which was a kick. She truly was a beautiful lady inside and out. Let the love that family and friends are sending you be a source of warmth and comfort for your mind, body and soul.
