Keith Clarence Park, Jr. of Ceres, CA was born on November 13, 1943 in Mesa, AZ to K.C. Park and Era Lorene Witt Park. He entered into rest on February 7, 2014 at Hospice House in Hughson, CA after a brief illness.
He was the oldest of three sons. His family, along with his grandparents and several families of aunt, uncles, and cousins settled in Hughson, CA in the mid 40's where his father and uncle owned and operated a barber shop for many years. He attended school in Hughson, where he was on the high school swim team. He went from high school to the Navy and married his high school sweetheart. Although that marriage didn't last, it left him with a beautiful daughter, his only child. He was employed by Canandagua Winery in Escalon for 35 years. He started as a seasonal employee, and worked his way up to Cellar Foreman retiring 10 years ago. His life took many twists and turns until he met his current wife, Carol, in 1987. They were married four and a half years later. He became a very special and much loved step-dad to her three children. They shared a wonderful 22 years together as man and wife. Together they have 4 children, 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. They enjoyed yearly trips to Oklahoma to visit his family and many mini vacations to Chuckchansi to relax and enjoy just spending time together. Besides his family Keith enjoyed fishing, gardening, and playing the lottery. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather Always the fun, funny, joking Dad and Papa. He was always quick and willing to help Carol around the house with cleaning, shopping, cooking, laundry or whatever other "Honey Do's" she had for him.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents (K.C. and Lorene) and his two brothers (Loyd Wayne Park and Richard Lee Park).
He was loved and will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Carol, his daughter Renee Rowell of Modesto, step children, Kevin Jeffries of Ballico, Karen Jeffries (Jimmy) of Greeley Hill, and Brian Ashby of Ceres. Grandchildren, Steven, Brice, Brianne, and Sara Jeffries, Trisha Rowell, Vanessa Cruz, and Gage Ashby. Great-grandchildren, Sugar, Romeo, Gabrielle, Justin, and Zoe. Two sisters-in-law, Linda Park (Richard) of Oklahoma and Joneda Park (Loyd) of Hilmar. Best friend Ron Beck of Modesto, and many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
A graveside service will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson, CA on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Remembrances may be made to Community Hospice, 2201 Euclid Ave., Hughson, CA.
