Lena (Vessel Oldenburg) Bohannan, 73, of Turlock, California passed away peacefully on November 28, 2018. She was born in Turlock, California on January 11, 1945. She was married to David Bohannan on June 9, 2018 and warmly welcomed into his family.
Lena retired after 25+ years as a teacher’s assistant in the Empire School District. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Turlock for 50 years. Her passion was living out her faith in God and genuinely loving people. She was survived by her children: Teresa (Mike) Corsaut, Larry (Tammy) Vessel Jr., Sidney (Sandy) Vessel, Matt (Jen) Oldenburg, Tim Oldenburg, Rob Oldenburg, and grandchildren: Derick Vessel, Tessa Corsaut, Luke Corsaut, Joshua Corsaut, Jaqueline Corsaut, Ben Corsaut, Priscilla Harakh-Singh, Chris Harakh, Tess Oldenburg, Zuri Oldenburg, Melody Oldenburg, Maddax Goodman, and great grandchildren: Gianna Singh, Nikolai Ely, and Minerva Ely. She was predeceased by her husband Lowell Oldenburg and husband Larry Don Vessel Sr.
