Manuel was born in Manteca, CA. He married Angelina Azevedo on March 25, 1942 at the Sacred Heart Church in San Jose, CA. Manuel retired in 1986 from Tri Valley Growers where he worked as a shop foreman.
He is preceded in death by his mother Filomena Simas and father John Machado Azevedo.
He is survived by his wife Angelina Azevedo, daughter Diane Robinson, Grandson Hank Moore, Granddaughter Jordon Robinson, and great greadchildren Zachary and Justin Moore.
A service was held in his honor Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010 at 11:30AM at Lakewood Funeral Home. A private intermet was held Monday, Nov. 15, 2010 at Lakewood Memorial Park. Guest book available at www.lakewoodhughson.com
