

Marsha Elaine Blackmon, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on June 12, 2023, at the age of 67. She was born on January 20, 1956, to George and Viola Blackmon, and brought joy and love into the lives of those around her. Marsha's vibrant spirit, love for her family, and enthusiasm for life will forever be remembered.
Marsha's love for her family was unparalleled. She cherished her parents, George and Viola, and held a special bond with her big sister Shirley. They shared countless memories and laughter together, creating a deep and unbreakable connection. Marsha also adored her nieces and nephews, finding immense joy in playing and spending time with them. Her nurturing and affectionate nature made her a favorite aunt, and she left an indelible mark on their lives.
Aside from her devotion to family, Marsha had a few passions that brought her great happiness. She was an avid fan of the television series Hawaii Five-Q often finding solace and excitement in following the adventures of the characters. Additionally, Marsha had an undeniable admiration for Shemar Moore. She loved watching him on Criminal Minds and S.W.A.T. Her admiration for these shows and actors showcased her love for storytelling and the power of imagination.
Marsha's furry companion, Waffles, her cherished cat, held a special place in her heart. She found comfort in the presence of her feline friend, and their bond brought warmth and companionship into her life.
Marsha was preceded in death by her father George Blackmon, mother Viola Blackmon, her sister Bobbi Collier, sister Vera Turentine, and brother-in-law James Turentine. Although they have departed from this world, their memories will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved them.
She is survived by her siblings Marvin Blackmon {Livingston, TX], Myron (Cathy) Blackmon
[Merced, CA], Shirley (Teddie) Robinson [Modesto, CA], Michelle (Edgar) Patterson [Union City, CA], and Murray (Torina) Blackmon [McDonough, GA]. Marsha's siblings will hold her memory close, cherishing the times they shared together and finding solace in the love they will always carry for her. Additionally, she leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, all of whom adored their aunt Marsha and will remember her for her kindness, love, and infectious laughter.
