Martha Holton, 92, of Ceres, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2013 at English Oaks Nursing Home. She was born August 23, 1920 in Corbin, Kentucky. Martha was one of 8 children born to William and Mary Steely. She had a great sense of humor, enjoyed fishing, attending church, gardening, spending time with friends and family, and loved to dance.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, 6 of her siblings, her son Larry Davis, grandson William (Billy) Ross, and her husbands John Davis and Steve Holton.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Larry and Donna Ross, grandchildren Mike Davis, Frank Davis, Keith Ross, and Brandi Thomas, 11 great grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren, and her friend and companion John Richie. Martha was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
A service will be held on Wednesday August 7, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Ave., Hughson, CA.
