Happy Mother's Day Nana!!!
I was blessed to have an amazing Nana and Granny. They weren't just family, they were one of my best friends. My Nana and Granny attended most of my baseball games and school events. Even when Nana had a stroke, she still found ways to color with me, plays cards, or a game of bingo. I was Granny's Butterball. She had always called me Butterball until one day she called me Buttermilk instead. That is a memory that will always stick with me. I had a lot of memories with my Nana and Granny, which I'm thankful to have. Happy Mothers Day Nana and Granny. PS: thank you Nana for bringing my wonderful mom into this world. I couldn't be more blessed with the wonderful family I have. I love you all da muches Nana, Granny, and My Mommy, Denise.

Mom, It's hard to feel sorrow when I feel so blessed that you are not suffering any longer on this earth. I knew that I'd have my selfish days but now I feel I have to rejoice. You are with brother, Dad, Papa, Granny and many loved ones. What stories must be being shared. I think about the walks you must be taking now, crocheting and games that are being played. Homemade ice cream, fishing, camping and sitting by the fire. What memories I have. Thanks for always being there for me. You've taught me so much about being a loving parent. I miss you everyday but thank God that I know I will see you again. I'll continue to P.U.S.H and trust to F.R.O.G. You are my sunshine, so keep shining for me! I love ya all da muches mom!!!!

some of my best memories are those when i spent the night at the Edwards home, I always stayed the night with Marvel then in the morning we would get up to Ada making us a big breakfast with all the trimmings these are some of my best memories, I love and will miss you Marvel.

Marvel was a very special person who touched our family in a special way. She will always be in our memories and will never be forgotten. Love until we see you again
