I lived next to your Mom & Dad until I went to college.  I always enjoyed visiting them.  I would swim with your mom in her pool in the back yard while Merle would be welding in his shop.  I would do odd jobs for your Dad stacking wood, painting and wallpapering etc...  I will miss Merle and his great sense of humor.  He taught me a lot about farming and to take pride in your work.
I feel very blessed to known Merle.

My family so enjoyed going to the ranch and having Uncle Merle cook breakfast. it was always so fun and laid back to vist there. Merle could do some great tickles and later when I had my own kids they enjoyed the visit and always had a smile at to how fun he was. David always went staight to the barn and discuss tractors for a few hours and laughs with Merle. you will be missed. Our thoughts are with you John and Doug. What great sons you are. I have such fond memories of Merle.  Our family would visit the dairy and play with John and Doug.  One day Merle gave us a tour of the milking barn, and squirt milk at my sister Coni.
