Dr. Michael "Mike" Leon Hill

Michael Leon Hill was born November 16, 1975 to Calvin Jr. and Janice M. Hill in Gary, Indiana. Michael attended private school as a child until high school where he attended and graduated from Horace Mann High in 1993. Michael went on to attend Commonwealth Business College where he made the deans list and received his certificate in Business and IT.

Growing up Michael enjoyed music, dancing, fashion, hanging out with his friends and cooking. Michael was raised in the church and taught about the love of Christ at an early age. He accepted Christ in 1997 and his life was never the same. In 1999, Michael began traveling the country ministering the gospel with his older brother Brian MR REAL Hill. God began using Michael in a powerful way: while traveling, Michael was introduced to the love of his life, Valree. Michael moved to California and was wed to Valree in November 2002. Hearing the call, this union formed King Life, Inc. Ministries first established in San Jose, California now located in Tracy, California. It was here that God used Michael and Valree to break through the stereotypes of what a preacher should look and sound like. Michael received an Honorary Doctorate in Divinity in 2009 from Saint Thomas Christian College.

In 2010, Michael released his first instrumental album under Nabiy Music called "Kingdom Minstrel Vol. 1 and would go on to release 5 more instrumental albums. Michael loved his family and loved to travel to Hawaii with his beautiful wife. He also loved his King Life family and preaching the gospel.

Michael is preceeded in death by his mother Elder Janice M. Hill and his nephew Randall T. Parker. Michael leaves to charish his father Calvin Hill Jr., his loving wife Valree T. Hill, daugher Alexandria (Tedaryl) Mason, son Delin (Jamika) Todd, son Brandon Crawford, daughter Alexandria Hill and two grandchildren Gemariah Mason and Justus Mason. Five siblings Antoinette Curry, Maurice Hill, Lamont (Kenyatta) Hill, Brian (Valerie) Hill, Eileen Hill, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, spiritual sons and daughters.
