Nancy was a wonderful neighbor - I will miss her smile. I will treasure the scarf she gave me over the last christmas holiday... She was a lovely person. My thoughts go out to her family in this time of sorrow.  - Marie

Nancy and I were friends for 30+ years, from out time at Gallo to our Neighborhood Watch days. We could spend hours chatting about our girls & grandkids. Nancy lived for her girls!  She could always bring a group to tears or laughter with her quick wit and sometimes off-colored jokes! She was such a joy to be around, always cheerful and always a lady! Even tho we sometimes went months without talking over the last few years, we could pick up the phone and it was as if we had never lost touch. I am so proud and humbled to have called her my friend.  My heartfelt prayers and thoughts go out to her family and friends. May she rest in peace.

I only knew Nancy for a short amount of time, but I can say she has a lasting impression on my life.we had enjoyable conversations and it was a pleasure to be able to assist her for the time i did.My prayers go out to her entire family.May God comfort you all in this time of sorrow....Most Respectfully

Thank you so much for the wonderful things you wrote about this great woman.  I too met Nancy at Gallo 43 years ago and that year all of the ladies went to the Cote for a Christmis luncheon and Nancy, Deanna Thompson and I had to get back and none of us drove there; so the three of us got out and hitch-hicked a ride back to Gallo from a young man in a van.  We laughed about that all the time.  She was always poking fun at you, but she always took it back with a laugh.  I will miss her dearly.  Her family is in my prayers.

Almost 40 years of friendship..how do I start?
Nancy,Claudia and Phyllis met at Gallo Winery,it was love at first sight. Three very different people became "forever friends" Nancy never tried to be perfect-she tried to be real..she succeeded! She followed the Commandments because they were commandments, not suggestions.
She made a difference in peoples lives,her grace,her love for others, her enthusiasm made Nancy a very loved gal. She didn't seek credit for her deeds...she just did it.
We always knew we would slay dragons for each other.  We were safe in each others company.
Nancy made us better people by her example.
Our friend cared more about her character than her resume.
Nancy achieved the highest accolade of all and the most important promotion in her life..that of "grandmother"
Spending time with August, Jeremy Elaina and Mariel were her happiest days of all. We would meet every Tuesday and there would hardly be enough time to share our "Nana stories". She loved her grandkids more than life itself, and that came straight from her heart.
Find comfort knowing you were loved by the best!

I am so sad to know that I will never get to visit with her at her dental visits.  Nancy was not just one of my favorite patients but a friend as well.  She will always be remembered in my heart & by all of the crafty things she has given me over the years!  I am truly sorry for the loss of your mom, grandma & friend!
