Nancy was one of nine children, preceded in death by her parents; Claude and Ruth Harris; siblings, Edward Pike, William Pike, Betty Thompson and Helen Pruitt. She is survived by her husband, Jose S. Perez Sr. of 58 years; brothers, Roy, Melvin and Richard Harris and sister Norita Mears; children, Cindy (Manuel) Brasil, Stephanie (Greg) Cordero, Jose (Monita) Perez Jr., Jenny (Tom) Johnson; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Nancy was a homemaker who worked for CVC and Tri Valley for a short time. She volunteered as a girl scout leader and dedicated her time to Modesto and Ceres High School Band Boosters. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved spending time with family, playing cards and going to Black Oak Casino.She will be forever in our hearts.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 13 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM, with a rosary at 6:00 PM, with a chapel service on Saturday, June 14 at 12:00 PM, both at Lakewood Funeral Home (Riverside Chapel), 900 Santa Fe Ave., Hughson, CA. Lakewood Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
