Rickey Raymond Ricardo

On January 4, 2026, Rickey Raymond Ricardo passed away peacefully with his family by his side after a life defined by service, faith, and love for the Lord and his family. He was a resident of Battle Ground, Washington.

Rickey was born and raised in Turlock, CA to father Wilfred R. Ricardo and mother Mary L. Loureiro on August 3, 1949. He proudly served two tours in Vietnam and was a dedicated son, brother, husband, father, and friend.

He found great joy as a florist, fisherman, coach, musician, and a competitive go-kart racer. He served in various ministry roles throughout his life with the church. He found joy in every part of life; even during tough times, he never lost his sense of humor.

Rickey is survived by his wife Sandy Ricardo; daughters Janelle N. Mercurio (Seth) and Kimberlee M. Bertolotti (Jared); son Stephen J. Ricardo (Amanda); grandchildren Caitlyn, Isabella, & Makayla Mercurio, Hunter & Dakota Bertolotti, and Ryder, Finn, & Bodie Ricardo; brother Gary W. Ricardo (Jeani); and brother-in-law Mike Jackson (Rhonda). He is preceded in passing by his father Wilfred R. Ricardo; mother Mary L. Loureiro; and sister Dolores Ricardo.

Rickey will be remembered for his faith, generosity, service, and devotion to those who had the privilege of knowing him.

A committal service will be held at Turlock Memorial Park, located at 425 N Soderquist Rd, Turlock, CA 95380, on January 23, 2026, from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm.

A Celebration of Life will follow at Richland Faith Assembly of God, located at 1201 Richland Ave, Modesto, CA 95351, on January 23, 2026, from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
