Ronald Haywood Coleman

Ronald Coleman, 72, of Waterford, CA passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2013. Ronald was born in Joplin Missouri to Roy and Thelma Coleman. He moved to California at a young age and lived in Waterford and then in Desert Hot Springs. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, brothers John Coleman and Floyd Coleman and his son Ronnie Coleman. He leaves behind a loving family; current wife Bee Coleman, mother of sons, Sharon Coleman, wife of 40 years, two children Eric Coleman and Randy Markle, granddaughters Christina Coleman, Kylie Coleman, grandsons Jonathan Coleman, Randy Markle, Jr., David Markle, three great granddaughters Haley, Addison and Madeline Grace, brother Bill (Diane) Coleman, sisters Virginia (Ronald) Conway, Roberta (Thurman) Reynolds, Alberta (Lou) Skinner and many nephews and nieces. Ronald's body was stricken with disability, but Ron never showed disability. He loved to live life. He loved to ride motorcycles and play cards with friends. Those who knew him, knew there was a bet that could always be made. So be ready for him to ask "Would you like to take a bet on that?" He was a man with a passion for being an entrepreneur from selling Christmas trees, cars at RC's car lot and beyond. He was a man that could use his voice to make things happen, but also had a very tender heart and compassion for things he truly cared for. He loved his family dearly and took care of them well. His spirit and zest for life will be missed by his family and all who knew him.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 13, 2014 from 4-8PM. Funeral Service will be on Tuesday January 14, 2014 at 10:00AM; both at Lakewood Funeral Home Heritage Chapel, 900 Santa Fe Avenue in Hughson. A reception will follow at Lighthouse Church in Waterford.
