Ruby Spurgin, 93, from Modesto, entered into rest on May 25. She is survived by her brother, Richard Ball, nieces, Janet McCrorry, Sharron Norton, newphew, Dustin Norton and many other nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.
Ruby worked for the Modesto City Schools as a teacher's aide, for 30 years. Some of that time was spent at Kelly School, plus she also worked as bus driver for Storer Transportation.
A viewing will be held on June 1, 2014, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm followed by the service on June 2, 2014 at 10:00 AM, both in the Heritage Chapel at Lakewood Funeral Home, Hughson, CA.
