Suzanne Marie Gomes, 43 entered peacefully into the arms of her heavenly father Sunday, September 14 2014. Suzanne was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She attended Westport Elementary, La Loma Jr. High, and Thomas Downey High graduating class of 1989. She was a member of Westport 4-H. While attending Downey an accomplished flutist, she was a very active member of the marching band and orchestra.
Her hobbies included listening to music, cooking and she also had tremendous amount of love for animals. She worked at Round Table Pizza. Later she became a C.N.A. located in the Modesto area.
Suzanne is survived by her son, Christopher Jones of Atlanta Georgia, mother, Sylvia Gomes, sister, Jennifer (Ken) Cardoza, brother, Greg Gomes, nephew, Garrett Parker, niece, Megan Parker, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, William "Bill" Gomes, grandparents, Martin and Edna Horst, Pete and Mary Gomes all of Modesto.
Graveside Services will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park on Friday, Sept. 26, 2014 at 1:00pm.
The Family requests that donations be made to their favorite charity.
