Kevin Burkholder

Kevin will be forever missed by his beloved wife of 33 years, Sheri; his children, Korey (Stacey), Chelsea (Shane), and Brock; and his cherished grandchildren, Fae and Grayson.

Born on August 23, 1970, in Cochrane, Ontario, Kevin was the beloved son of Diane and the late Lloyd Burkholder. He will be deeply missed by his sister, Tracey, and her sons, Riley (Karley) and Hunter (Kelsie). He will also be lovingly remembered by his parents-in-law, Roberta and Gord; his sisters-in-law, Tina and Cassandra; Tina's children, Krysta (Alex), Alannah (Lucas), and Kurtis (Miranda); and Cassandra's daughter, Brianna. Kevin also leaves behind nine adored great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will cherish his memory.

Kevin lived in Cochrane until 2021, when he and Sheri made the decision to move to Gatineau to be closer to their children and grandchildren—a choice that brought him great joy.

Kevin found happiness in life's simple pleasures and treasured every opportunity to spend time with family and friends. He was an avid hockey fan who never passed up the chance to watch a game and enjoyed the challenge and excitement of escape rooms.

Around the house, Kevin took great pride in renovation projects, finding satisfaction in improving every space and making a house truly feel like home. Whether cheering on his favorite team, tackling a new project, or creating memories with those he loved, Kevin lived with generosity, warmth, and quiet dedication.

Kevin was also a proud and dedicated employee of Russell Mineral Equipment, where he was respected by his colleagues and took great pride in his work.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Beauchamp Funeral Home, 271 St-Joseph, Gatineau (Hull), Quebec on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 2 p.m.
