Mes condoleances. Roland etait une personnel bien active et bien aimee par bien du monde.

C'est avec tristesse que nous apprenons le décès de Roland. J'ai eu le plaisir de travailler avec Roland de très près pour plus qu'une douzene d'année à Postes Canada soit au Siège Social et à la Division Rideau. Roland a toujours été un bon ami, chaleureux, dynamique, généreux et très drôle. Repose en Paix mon cher Roland.

A Marie-Josée et toute la famille, je vous offre mes plus sincères condoléances durant cette période difficile.  Je me souviens très bien d'avoir travaillé pendant plusieurs années auprès de Marie-Josée à Élections Canada et avec Roland lorsqu'il était notre liaison avec  Poste Canada. 
Je n'ai malheureusement pas pu participer avec vous il y a quelques jours pour célébrer sa vie, mais j'ai pensé à vous pendant la journée Mes prières et pensées sont avec vous.
Que vos bons souvenirs de Roland puissent vous réconforter dans les jours à venir.

So sorry to hear of Roland’s passing. Marlene and I send our sympathies to MJ and the family.

I worked with Roland for one year at Canada Post, but I remember that year  most fondly of all my time there. Roland was a tad challenging to work for, mainly because he was so focused on getting it right. Once I got that, we had a great year together and became friends. I remember him walking me around the building introducing me to just about everyone at Head Office. He was always supportive of his team and stood up for us like a junkyard dog. I was also introduced to the Barley Mow lunches, filled with many laughs, puns (good and bad) and Roland’s witticisms. He loved to get the better of us all, and usually did.

Rest well, Roland. Thank you for our time together. I’ll never forget it.

I was truly heartbroken to hear about Roland’s passing. I’ve known him since I was a kid, and we always shared a special bond—one I’ll always hold close. Roland had a way of lighting up any room with his sharp wit and perfectly timed sarcasm.

I have such fond memories of visiting him and MJ, enjoying meals together, and hearing him proudly show off his garden. One of the last times we went out for supper, he joked about the dessert being so small it shouldn't even count as a dessert—it was just one bite! We laughed so hard that night. That was Roland—always bringing joy, humor, and a touch of mischief wherever he went.

He will be deeply missed, but the memories and laughter we shared will stay with me forever. My heart goes out to his family and everyone who loved him.

Our condolences to MJ and Roland's family.  I will always have many fond memories of our times together at our place in Morin Heights,  meals at their home in Almer and the many lunches at the Barley Mow.  Roland was always ready with a quick wit and a good laugh.  He was so a generous soul and will be very much missed by those who knew him well.  Rest in peace mon ami. I was deeply saddened to hear of Roland’s passing. During our time together at Canada Post, he was not only a valued member of the Sales Support team but also a kind, thoughtful, and supportive colleague. He always made those around him feel comfortable and respected, and I am grateful to have had the chance to work with him and get to know him personally. I cherish memories of being out on his sailboat and reconnecting recently at a get together. My thoughts and condolences are with his family during this difficult time.

J’ai été profondément attristé d’apprendre le décès de Roland. Pendant notre séjour à Postes Canada, il était non seulement un membre précieux de l’équipe de soutien aux ventes, mais aussi un collègue gentil, attentionné et solidaire. Il a toujours fait en sorte que ceux qui l’entouraient se sentent à l’aise et respectés, et je suis reconnaissant d’avoir eu la chance de travailler avec lui et d’apprendre à le connaître personnellement. Je chéris les souvenirs d’être sur son voilier et de me reconnecter récemment lors d’une rencontre. Mes pensées et mes condoléances accompagnent sa famille en cette période difficile.
