Alex Fuentes was born in Houston, Texas on April 24th, 1990. He entered eternal rest at the age of 35 on April 2nd, 2026. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Alex was known for his playful spirit and goofy sense of humor that could brighten any room. He was a friend to everyone he encountered and was always ready with a smile or a warm greeting. Family was important to Alex. He cherished every moment spent with loved ones and was always there to support and uplift those around him. His genuine friendliness and caring nature touched the lives of everyone he met. Though gone too soon, Alex’s joyful presence and loving heart will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His memory will continue to inspire kindness and laughter in the lives of others.
Alex found joy in the simple things that made life meaningful whether it was spending time with his dog Simba, enjoying wings and crawfish, or cheering on all the Houston sports teams. He found comfort in his mom’s papas con huevo, of course with a side of ketchup. He was always happiest surrounded by family, enjoying the music, food, and dancing together. He shared a special bond with his brother through their mutual love of guns, and he enjoyed simple moments like corner store runs with his dad. He found joy in sharing movie nights and gym trips with his little sister. Alex had a passion for expressing himself through tattoos, and he rarely stepped out without his favorite shoes and hats. Above all, Alex will be remembered as everybody’s fun uncle, the one who could light up any room, make people laugh, and leave lasting memories with those lucky enough to know him.
He is survived by his parents, Alejandro and Ramona (Monchis), brother Carlos (Jessica Orozco), sister Daisy and nieces, Alexandria, Angelina and Aundrea, his maternal grandmother Felipa Blanco and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Eusebio Espinoza and paternal grandparents Carlos and Micaela Fuentes.
