On November 17, 1971, Arisca Faye Barber was born to Harold and Shirley Barber in LaFayette, Louisiana. She was the oldest of their two children. “Risca” to all who knew her. She loved her baby brother whose name is Harold Jr. who she loving called “Pop”. Risca lived with her brother after their parents were deceased. Risca grew up in the North Forrest Community and attended public school in that area. She graduated from Forest Brook High. She loved taking care of people and spent her life providing services to them.
Arisca attended church at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church. She later joined God’s Anointed and Chosen Church under the leadership of Pastor Eleria Barber where she became Pastor Barbers Amour Bearer then later accepted her calling to preach God’s Word. She remained there faithful until Pastor Barber united Bishop Rich Cook Sr. Ministry.
She always remained in the ministry of help to Pastor Barber and became close to her and her family. Arisca is the very close family to Dec. Carroll Barber and Pastor Eleria.
ON June 5, 2025 Minister Arsica Barber gained her wings to be in the Kingdom of God.
Minister Barber’s parents preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory her brother Harold John Barber Jr., her loving pastor and cousins Dec. Carroll and Pastor Eleria Barber, her aunts Dot and Anabelle, her uncle Gilbert Jones and Carol Barber, as well as the entire Barber family, cousins, relatives and friends.
