Benito Perez was born on January 8, 1934 in Durango, Mexico to the late Salvador Perez and Zenaida Barajas. He departed this world on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Estela Perez and great grandson Larry McWilliams.
Benito was a resident of the state of Texas for 50 years (Early 1970's - 2024). He was the father of (4) daughters (Mary Berenice, Lorena (Tony), Memi (Perry) and eight (8) sons Juan (MaryAnn), Ernesto (Silvia), Jose Angel, Roberto (Maria), Jaime, (Carmen), Ricardo, Arturo (Isabel) and Gregorio (Flor). He is survived by several Children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Benito was a Godly man and was an active member of his church for over 50 years. He was an exemplary husband who loved his wife till the end. He was also a model father and an exceptional employee. Benito was a man of few words yet he had a beautiful sense of humor.
From a young age, Benito excelled in the artistic music world, mastering his skills in multiple instruments and recording 2 albums. He also performed alongside hundreds of famous artists. Furthermore, he passed on his musical talent to his descendants.
Benito was an avid Houston Astros fans. He attended numerous baseball games and was able to visit multiple MLB stadiums. He also enjoyed playing baseball with his children, grandchildren and great-great grandchildren on Sunday afternoons.
He left us a plentiful legacy to follow, for that reason, To God be the glory!
