Momma Karen I love you so very much.  This page popped up on my computer today.  You must be thinking of me ;).  I miss you more everyday.  Thank you for the laughter, the love, and the great example of a true disciple of Christ!  I miss you so much!

Missing you everyday...my sweet little sis. ...I am going to give it my all til we meet again..I love you. I know you are busy with work in heaven...so I will do my part here ...thinking of you each and every day.

Mom as each day passes this just gets harder.  I want to call you.   I want to share my grief with you.   I want to hold you.   I know you are in a better place.   I know you are free from pain.  I know your beliefs and they are mine too.   I hold on to knowing that I am blessed to know you.   Blessed to be loved by you.   You taught me how to love,  how I need to live, and are my greatest champion and most true friend.   I love you mom.  Forever and always.

It seems so quick this mortal life we share
where trials seem our lot to bear
Through earthly trials we live and learn

Christ's great mercies to us are freely given

My lovely dear sister!!!  I am going to miss our talks (that I could have at anytime day or night) with you!  I miss my dear friend that I could talk about anything and not be judged.  I'm going to miss your sense of humor and your laugh!!! What I'll miss most is the love you gave to me and my family.  I will always love you!!! Until we meet again!!!

To our friends of Phoenix West Stake, 17th Ward, Alhambra High School and others: Beloved Karen Barnes Malay passed away Saturday, August 22nd, in The Woodlands, Texas. There will be a memorial service for her on Saturday, September 5th, at 10am. Services will be held at the LDS Stake Center on 51st Avenue and Pinnacle Peak, right next to the Phoenix Temple. Her family, including her children, Amy Malay Gammon, Mike Malay, Kate Malay Nelson, Matthew Malay, and Zachary Malay, would love to see everyone to celebrate this special lady.
