Lynn Jeffery Meneses, passed away after a long illness at her home in Stafford TX on May 15, 2014. Lynn was the daughter to Norman Jeffery and Betty Blazier Jeffery, She was born on February 8, 1956. She was married to Armando Meneses, who passed from this world in March of 2011. She is survived by her sisters Jeanette Matthews, Karen Grimes (Frank), Dianne Cowher and brothers Ronald Jeffery (Rose), Richard Jeffery, Carl Jeffery (dear friend Alice Schaeffer), all from Pittsburgh PA and Brother Randy T. Jeffery (Berta). from Pearland TX. Lynn is also survived by nephews Rob Matthews and Martin Alcocer of Stafford TX, as well as many loving nieces and nephews from around the United States and Venezuela. Lynn received her Bachelor Degree from the University of Pittsburgh and her Masters from Texas Southern University. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, Lynn relocated to Houston to start her teaching career. Lynn retired after 29 years at HISD in 2008.
Funeral and internment will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery located at 21723 Aldine Westfield Road in Humble, TX 77338 (phone 281-443-3340).
