

On Tuesday, December 12, 2023, God dispatched an Angel to guide Ura Living Mosley from labor to rest in her heavenly home at the age of age of 57. She was loved by everyone that knew her and she loved everyone she knew.
Ura Dell Living was born Friday, September 30, 1966 in Lafayette, Louisiana to parents Eliza Bell and Francis Living Sr. She was raised from infancy in Houston, Texas by Rose and Charles Mourning I. She accepted Christ and was baptised in her youth, and was thus, a saved soul who was unwavering in her love for Jesus.
Ura completed her primary and secondary education in the Houston ISD. Her passion for education and her love for children led to a career in child nutrition beginning in 1997. From there, she would go on to work for the Houston Independent School District at Garden Villas Elementary until 2008 when she transferred to Nimitz High School in the Aldine School District, where she has worked since that time.
Ura was the life of the party. She loved her children, grandchildren, Michael Jackson, Zydeco, Singing, Cooking, and her man Jimmy Ray! Ura had a big heart, a big smile, and welcomed others with open arms.
Married on Christmas Day, Ura and Jimmy Ray Mosley spent nearly twenty-four years in union. Together, they were the proud parents of nine children, and twenty grandchildren.
Ura was preceded in death by her daughters, Tiffany R. Martin and Angel M. Moses; Fathers, Charles H. Mourning I, and Francis Living Sr.; sister, Brenda Living; brother, Francis Living III.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her beloved husband, Jimmy; mothers, Eliza Bell and Rose; children, Johnny (Tashae), Kenneth (Josephine), Shatina (Roderick), Montavia (Shaquille), Keanna (Adam), Jimmy Jr, Ashley (Henry), Shonta, Jeremiah (Shondria), brothers, Preston, Francis (Wilhelmina), Robert (Cherie), Elyon (Da Neisha), Derick (Jeanine), Jamal, a sister, Karen and twenty grandchildren.
She will be missed by a host of Aunts, Uncles, Niece, Nephews, Coworkers, Friends and Family.
