Victor was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on March 08, 1948. After high school, he enrolled in the United States Army and served 4 years. During this time, Victor was stationed in Panama where he met the love of his life, Elvira. They were married in 1969 and had 4 sons together.
Victor and Elvira moved to Texas and built an incredible life serving God and helping to build His kingdom. Victor built a career and retired as a U.S. Customs agent and served as head pastor at Nuevo Pacto church for 33 years.
He set up many mission trips in Central and South America including Guatemala and Mexico.
He had a passion for serving the Lord and helped out many families along the way. He graciously offered his home and assistance in any way that was needed and built lifelong relationships.
Victor led an amazing life - maybe he didn't always see his impact, but everyone else did. He was an honorable and upstanding man with the best sense of humor and pranks. He always had a quick joke and delivered it with a side eye and great laugh of his own. He was an amazing husband, son, father, grandfather, uncle, pastor, and friend. He leaves behind an incredible legacy and will truly be missed - until we see him again.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Eva Rentas-Lucas, great-grandson Sebastian Ceciu, and his son, Abdiel Israel Ojeda. He is survived by his wife, Cruz Elvira Ojeda, sons Victor (Lori), Eli (Cassandra), and Daniel (Erin), father, Victor Ojeda, sister, Maria Esther Ojeda (Edwardo Garcia Rexach), 16 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at Calvary Christian Fellowship in Kingwood, TX. on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 11:00am. Place of interment will be Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery at 3:00pm.
