Willie was born a second generation American, his grandfather was a native of what is now Prague, Czechia. Willie attended all boys Catholic schools his entire childhood with his two older brothers George and Richard. A native of Ohio, Willie loved the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns.
In the early 1980’s he met his life companion, Patricia Lee Yanock. Willie adopted Patti's then four year old son, John, and they moved to Houston, Texas. Willie and Patti had two more children, Michael and Lucy who were raised in Spring, Texas. It was important to him that his children attend Mass, have a strong moral backbone and integrity. Willie was passionate about his children’s sport activities and spent his time attending their athletic events. Willie was a man ahead of his time, he loved being at home with his children - making sure they went to all their events and that he made supper for them. He loved being a quintessential Dad – teaching his kids to be resourceful and financially responsible, maintaining yards, vehicles and pets. He was a kind, loving and forgiving man.
Willie worked in the oil and gas industry, financial sector, and technology before finishing his career in criminal justice. He loved music (especially The Who, Joni Mitchell and The Beatles), Impressionist art, love poems, animals and the beauty of nature. Willie passed suddenly after undergoing a new FDA-Approved TAVR procedure.
Willie is survived by his life companion of nearly 40 years, Patricia Lee Yanock, sons John T. Yanock (Melanie), Michael P. Yanock (Nicole), daughter Lucy K. Yanock and two grandchildren Parker P. Yanock and Quinn L. Yanock.
