

Anne M. “Nancy” Haney died on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at her residence. She was ninety years of age. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. Diringer and Anna Kinney Diringer. Anne had lived in White Haven, PA for the last twenty years and had previously been a longtime resident of Feasterville.
Nancy was a Cub Scout den mother and Girl Scout leader when her children were growing up. She enjoyed ceramics, knitting and she was an excellent seamstress. Nancy was a people person and enjoyed assisting her daughter in running her store, Pet Supplies Unlimited in Blakeslee, PA. She was a great lover of animals. Nancy and Jed were strong supporters of the Archbishop Wood Marching Band and Drill Team.
Nancy was a communicant of Saint Patrick’s parish in White Haven and had previously been a member of the Assumption BVM parish in Feasterville.
Nancy was the beloved wife of Gerard W. “Jed” Haney Sr. before his death in 1994. They would have been married for sixty-six years. She was the devoted mother of Patricia Haney of White Haven and the late Gerard W. “Bill” Haney Jr. She was the loving grandmother of Casey Haney (Kaitlyn), Emily Montoya, Matthew Haney (Katie Rae), and Erin Haney. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and her sister Mary Lou Diringer Denitz.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 9 to 10:45 AM at the Assumption BVM Church, 1900 Meadowbrook Road, Feasterville. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:45 AM. Anne’s interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem.
