Benjamin Harold Swinton, Jr. died on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the ManorCare Health Service in Oxford Valley. He was eighty-four years of age. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Florence E. and Benjamin Harold Swinton, Sr. He was a resident of Abington, PA. Benjamin was affectionately known as “Devil Dog.”
Benjamin was the beloved husband of the late Florence Elaine Parks. They were married on January 11, 1959. He was the loving father of Yvette, Benjamin III (deceased), Kenneth, Darren, Michael, Ronald, Shantel White. He is also survived by his daughter in-laws, Gina & Rochelle, his son in-law Butchie, twelve grandchildren, his siblings, Robert Swinton, Gertrude Swinton, Clarence Swinton, Lucille Wright (deceased) and various great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Swinton was a former employee of Alexander & Alexander, Aon, Ikon and Ricoh Companies. He enjoyed barbequing, fishing, playing bass guitar and watching classic movies.
