He was a Navy Veteran of Korean War, retired Philadelphia Police Officer, and Member FOP.
James was preceded in death by Martin L. (Father), Edna Mae Stanton (Mother), Patricia Creelman (Sister), and Carolyn Gallagher (Sister)
James is survived by his wife of 62 years, Margaret Stanton (nee Brown), and sisters Gloria Falotico, Ellen Owens (Edward) and a host of nieces and nephews.
A public visitation for James will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Lamb Funeral Home Inc., 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006. A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006. An interment will occur Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 12:25 PM at Forest Hills Cemetery, 25 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006.
