Tonico Paguio was born in Manila, Philippines, to parents, Jose Paguio and Julieta Paguio.
Nico was known for his gentle heart, infectious curiosity, witty sense of humor, and quiet strength. He had a way of making people feel seen and valued, whether through a small act of kindness, a thoughtful message, or simply sitting beside them when words weren’t needed.
Nico loved going to the gym, he found joy in everyday cooking, and he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. His enthusiasm was contagious and reminded us to notice the little wonders.
Though his time with us was far too short, Nico's legacy is one of kindness, courage, and connection. He taught us to be patient, to lead with empathy, and to celebrate each small victory. The love he gave continues in the lives he touched - family, friends, classmates, teachers, and neighbors who were better for knowing him.
Nico is lovingly remembered by his parents, Jose and Julieta Paguio; his siblings, Alex (Pete) and Nitti; his wife, Samantha; his daughter, Sophia; and his nieces, Adrianna and Hayley. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who cherished him.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to everyone that reached out for their support and compassion. Your kindness reminds us we are not alone.
We will miss Nico every day, and we will carry his light forward. His laughter, courage, and love will guide us always.
Services will be held privately.
